The Tri-Ying Legacy is the result of a year-long collaboration between an engineer (that’s me, Fabio) and a seasoned professional designer. It was conceived as a classic dragon staff head – simple, balanced and timeless.
Every curve, volume and surface has been engineered and designed to maximize the floating effect that makes a dragon staff so special when you spin it, while giving the prop a distinctive visual presence. It was created to feel natural both for beginners exploring their first patterns and for pioneers who will push the art further with techniques that haven’t been invented yet. It is also perfectly suited for rolling on the ground (freewheel practice).
The Tri-Ying Legacy is designed to be a long-lasting reference piece, combining pure functionality with a carefully sculpted visual presence.
One Tri-Ying Legacy head weighs 280 g. Flowbonacci dragon staff heads come with a lifetime warranty against breakage.
The carbon pole has a 22 mm (7/8″) outside diameter and is covered with Goat Grip – a very durable, structured rubber surface that offers excellent grip.
This pack includes: One pair of Tri-Ying Legacy dragon staff heads, one pair of hubs, one screw set and one Goat Gripped carbon fiber pole.
- One-piece pole – the full dragon staff experience with no compromises.
- Collapsible pole – ideal for travel, with a packed length of 58 cm (about 23″). Collapsible poles are inherently a bit more fragile and require more care, but they remain durable, secure and ultra-light, adding only about 60 g compared to a one-piece pole.Three pole sizes are available, chosen to keep the staff nicely maneuverable for your height:
- Up to about 1.65 m (5’5″) → 140 cm (55″) staff
- Between 1.65 m and 1.83 m (5’5″–6’0″) → 145 cm (57″) staff
- Above 1.83 m (6’0″) → 150 cm (59″) staff
- Spinal Hubs – the lightest option (70 g each), ideal if you carefully follow the assembly instructions to use them properly and avoid damage.
- Plug Hubs V2 – tool-free setup in about one minute, with a 2-year warranty from the date of purchase; each Plug Hub weighs 110 g.
Please note:
Flowbonacci hubs are not suitable for fire spokes. Flowbonacci cannot be held responsible for any damage to Goat Gripped carbon fiber poles if they are used with fire dragon staff equipment.
